This is a very imaginative theme. I really love the idea and it works in IE6!! Excellent work. A great addition to the Wordpress theme list.

gianluca, i just tried running the title script on your server, and it doesnt seem you have support for GD image.

contact your host and see if you can get it enabled

in my actual theme i use the ‘Headline Image’ plugin: it runs with the GD enabled… damn, how i can solve this mistery?

yeah, you have GD on your server… however, your PHP version is 4.4.6.

try putting this in your .htaccess in the root of your blog (where wp_config.php is located)

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

put that on the very first line. if that doesnt work, you will need to have your PHP upgraded. thats the only thing i can see causing your problems

No way. In place of the image titles, i see a black space. :-(( It’s maybe a difference of sintax between PHP 4.4.6 and PHP 5? I’ve another plugin that run, with GD and PNG.

i really dont know what to tell you then. it works fine on my server and my other sites server (different server) and it works fine. it has to be a PHP version problem.

and without having a server with that version, i can’t really troubleshoot it. i will see if i can figure it out, but no promises

Very cool concept, but it doesn’t show up very readable in FireFox with javascript turned off. I know not having javascript active would defeat the whole purpose, but you ought to try and make it readable even if it doesn’t display with the “special effects”.

just remove the: “hidesidebar.defaultExpanded(0)” in the javascript in the footer

Thanks! Seems to have worked in FF. But not in IE6. Also in IE 6 the whole bottom section (sidebar) is ‘broken’. Categories, Pages, Archives, Authors, Meta and Search are sitting outside of the black panel and above it. Only Recently Added links is in the black panel and sitting to the left hand side. Note: This was like this prior to removing the JS.

Only recently added links is in the black panel and sitting left justified of the area. Note: This was like this prior to removing the JS you mention in your reply.

Hey! If I deactivate the “Gd Image Titles” Option, it works! But, a little worst than “the good one” Why? I paste my PHP info, if it helps. Thanks! (Only the GD section)

you are probably going to need to edit the title.php to work on your specific web host.

Run the title script by itself to see the errors you are getting for easy checking. For one, I can see that base.gif isn’t in the images folder, that is a huge one.

This theme is very tricky to get working right at first because of the GD image issues on other servers, and since I only have the one, it is impossible for me to completely troubleshoot every installation. that is why i aded the disclaimer at the top.

Hey,So I downloaded and installed this theme right. Checked my PHP and its 5.2.2. Made sure PNG was enabled but the problem is the main tab is open when you start the site then if you click a different story it just closes the main one and the other one does not open…any ideas here?

Your site is calling another javascript code after the ones that the template calls.

The is issue for example could be as prototype.js review the source code of this template on this site, and review your source code also after the page loads in your browser.

Turn off one plugin at a time until you find the one calling prototype.js for me it was the plugin share this.

I really dig this template. Is there anyway you could help a non-php guy out and make the sidebar widget aware? I know HTML and CSS, but have not yet had the chance to educate myself in PHP (more’s the pity). I like to runn rss feeds on my blog and I have no idea how to insert one into PHP.

The theme really kicks ass.

This template is the reason I wanted to start a blog. But me being a novice I think I have done something wrong. I have uploaded the full Isolated folder, but at the presentation page, it says the stylesheet is missing. The style.css is showing in the file manager is saying its there though.

Sorry for being a pain but I would really value any help.

I had the same problem of Gianluca on 4.4.7 (Aruba Hosting) trying to solve it i realized that there is a problem on the second line of title.php

$image = ImageCreateFromGIF(”base.gif”);

but there is no base.gif image on the package. you need to trasform the image base.png into base.gif and now it works perfectly

i must congratulate you for your absolutely stunning theme. anyway, i just wonder on how i can add the title of the document on the scrollposts .toggle div.

if you have some pointers in which js file i have to look for, that would be great. It would be even better if you would incorporate that in your future release of the theme.

1.date entry is wrong, appear 2007 instead 2008
2.tags under the post are not displayed, there is only a gray bar without any tags…

Can anyone help me?
