My name is Ensellitis (In sell eye tiss). Yes, I know it sounds like a disease, that is because it is suppose to. I am like a disease, hence the name… Got it?

Isolated Wordpress Theme 3

Here it is, the Isolated theme.  I have gotten so many emails asking for this back that I had to repost it.

It is free to download, but be warned:

  1. This was created a few years ago, it is way out of date and will probably need modifications to run.
  2. The javascript used to make it is probably outdated too.
  3. I will NOT support this theme in any aspect whatsoever.
  4. I have no screenshot here.  Too much work.  If you are here, you probably know what you are looking for anyways.

If you are wondering why I am seeming like such a dick, read this.  I got several hundred email asking for this back, so here you are.  As before, I require my name in the footer, unless you get permission.  Everything is up to you.  I do have an ongoing wall of shame.  By removing said link in an unauthorized manor, you are agreeing for me to add you to said wall without written approval from yourself :P

That being said, enjoy.

If you use it, please comment here so I can check it out and see it running again after so long.

Stealing from the poor? None

There is one thing I absolutely love about the internet…  When I am designing something, there is always a plentiful array of free stock images, themes, and the like out there for the taking.  It used to be, if you needed something, you grabbed a paper and pencil, a camera, or a stone and chisel (depending on how old you are).  Now, you go to Google, type in what you need, and typically you can find half a dozen+ resources to help you out.

Now, most of the time, these resources you find may be free.  However, free does not mean “Steal this thing I made, and claim it as your own!”  A lot of the work out there, even though people are letting you use it, they still spent time making it.

That is what the CC, or Creative Commons was created for.  In essence, the CC is here to say that someone can use your work, adapt it to your needs, but ensure that the creator still gets his hat tip.  There are some variations of it, but the down and dirty is that you can use it however you want, just give props to the person who put in the work.

But there are always the people out there who ignore all of that “common sense”, and figure if there isn’t a big watermark on it, that they can do whatever the hell they want to do with it, and can claim they did it all on their own…

Oh, look at the pretties! None

Well, here it is, for the most part…

There is a lot of work left to do…  Some pages aren’t done yet, some haven’t been started, and some scare me.  :(

The navigation may be a bit awkward for now, there is no sidebars, no search feature, and so on.  So don’t be all suprised like you found Amelia Earhart in your sock drawer if you run across something that doesn’t seem right.  Chances are, it isn’t right.

Wait, I’m on my way back! 1

Ok, after a few year hiatus, I am coming back to this thing-a-majigy.

In the next few days I will be throwing up (literally, if I have too much more coffee) the new design, and filling it with all kinds of good contents.

All the old content has been scrapped and thrown into a huge garbage bag, smashed with a 10lb sledge, run through a wood chipper, meat grinder, burned with napalm, then the ashes were fed to a herd of feral cats.  In other words, it is gone for good.
