God I am fucking bored…
Today is the 63rd anniversary of D-Day. The beginning of one the worlds most bloodiest operations.
It is estimated that Allied casualties on D-Day totaled around 10,000, including 2,500 dead. German casualties are thought to have been between 4,000 and 9,000.
So give thanks, for without the lives of the brave allies, you may be living in a world filled with hate, lack of freedoms, and non-tolerance.
What is better than a USB device that is a humping dog? How about a modded one that has a USB drive that humps when transferring data.

Ok, so the blog is back.
Why? Because I’m tired of ranting on IRC. It’s good and all, but I need a place where the only restraint on my anger is myself. I can’t rant on the sites I own or run. I have to “behave”, so this is the exception.
So, a but of a run down on this new thing…
It’s XHTML 1.0 strict. It is that way because in my opinion, code is an art. Yes, I said it, an art. Some of you may say bullshit, but you would only be being a complete moron.
For the navigation bar, tool tips, and drop down sidebar, I am abusing Mootools v1. It is a small and easy as hell javascript library. It makes things pretty, and with little effort. Well, most of the time…
The backbone is, of course, Wordpress. It’s easy to skin, make plugins for, etc. And I have done enough coding of shit from scratch for the past year, so I didn’t feel like doing it all over again when there is a completely free option out there.
I created all the graphics here from scratch, and coded everything, in the timespan of roughly 4 days. Why is this important? It’s not, not one bit, so move on.

Are you bored? Don't know what to do? Don't deny it, if you are reading this right now you must be bored… I sure was when I wrote this. So anyway, here is some stuff to do… Strap on your goggles, grab a fire extinguisher and get started…
Match Stick Rockets. These are fun, my old lady almost kicked my ass because I was launching these things when we first moved into our new place here. Almost started 2 fires. They are really easy and will kill about 5 minutes of your time.
Giant Air Cannon. Not only will this kill some time, but you can also annoy the hell out of people. A perfect combo! With just a cardboard box, trash bag, and some tape you can shoot air, if you live in California, that could be a deadly weapon…
Lighter Tricks. Learn some of those impressive lighter tricks you see people doing all the time at the bar. Nothing impresses that guy or gal you have your eye on more then flipping a lighter around and then burning their eyebrows off. (Beware, stupid pop-ups on the site)
Simple Lie Detector. Don't lie to me, I gots me a lie detector!!! It isn't 100% full proof, but hey, you can make it out of parts from your local RadioShack, and whoever you are testing doesn't have to know it isn't completely accurrate. More plans: 1 2
Afrotech Mods. Don't even try to say you can't afford to do these mods. This stuff is easy to do and very "ghetto" in most cases. How cheap do you have to be to think this stuff up?

Yeah, I know… Is there such a thing as ethics in mass advertising? Quite possibly no. And it annoys the hell out of me. Some of you may be asking yourself “Self, what is he talking about?” Well, basically it is those stupid windshield fliers and doorknob hangings.
First I will bitch about windshield fliers… These really bug me. For one, hardly anyone wants them, and you also got those people who just toss them on the ground. The other day Hollywood Video was placing them on all the windshields at a local grocery store… What did that parking lot look like an hour later? Like a Kinkos exploded nearby, there was orange papers EVERYWHERE. Did they get more business? Not really, they weren’t busier than they were before, and they weren’t any slower. If you want to get your point across, why would you do something that you know for a fact annoys people? Why not place a big banner on your property? Why go onto private property, without permission from the owners, place fliers on people’s private property when there are better ways to do this? My very first job, I worked at a gas station stocking the freezer, it was winter, and a stupid local Chinese restaurant placed fliers on all of the windshields in the parking lot, between the moisture in the air and the cold weather, I permanently had their phone number on my windshield, did they bother helping me to get it off or offer to pay to get it off? No.
Second of all, are those door knob hangers. They are everywhere, and almost every company has them… Even though I live in an apartment complex that is clearly marked “No Soliciting,” we get these at least once a week. For days afterwards I spend the next few days picking dozens of them off the ground. These to, in my opinion, are basically an invasion of privacy, they go onto MY patio, and hang it on MY door. Why not knock on the door (which I also hate) and ask me if I would like some of your coupons? I have watched these people, they walk up really fast, hang it, then get the hell out of there, which is a good idea, because you would not like me to catch you hanging them on MY door.
These things pissing me off like this may only be me… But I doubt it, tell me who likes to have to get back out of their car because they didn’t notice it before hand, grab the flier, then get back in, especially if it is raining outside. Or who likes to get to their home with an armload of groceries see that stupid flier there, then go in, then have to go back and take it off? Then see their neighborhood littered with door hangers or fliers? I can’t hold the “advertisers” at fault for all of this, it is also the fault of people who have the second nature to throw these on the ground. But why even put people into that position? I don’t want to waste what little space there is in my trash can with their crap, either. I think I should print up some fliers, and every time I get fliers or hangers on MY stuff, I should go onto their property and place them on their windshields/doors…
